— Sweet Fingers, the East Bay’s destination for authentic Jamaican cuisine, is proud to announce it has officially secured a long-term lease at 1701 Telegraph Avenue. Situated at the iconic corner of 17th and Telegraph, this new flagship location marks a significant expansion for the restaurant in the heart of the Uptown Oakland arts and entertainment district.

Co-founded by Roxanne Mosley and Head Chef Clive Barnes, Sweet Fingers has spent years building a reputation for vibrant flavors and community spirit. The new space will feature a custom-designed kitchen where Chef Clive will continue to showcase his signature culinary expertise on a larger scale.

"We are thrilled to anchor Sweet Fingers at such a historic crossroads," said Mosley. "With Chef Clive at the helm of our kitchen at 17th and Telegraph, we are creating a premier destination for Caribbean culture and hospitality in the Town."

Renovations are expected to begin immediately, with a grand opening announcement to follow.

Chef Clive and I have found our new Elite 2nd location: Uptown Oakland.  

We are ready to take Sweet Fingers to a larger stage, but we’ve decided to skip the traditional banks. 

Instead, we are building this expansion with the people who actually helped us get here.
