Sweet Fingers Jamaican Restaurant is proud to announce the launch of "Hugs Cafe," a new initiative designed to support and welcome new mothers in the community. Starting this Tuesday, 2/4/2025 Hugs Cafe and will be held every Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sweet Fingers.

Hugs Cafe will provide a warm and welcoming space for new mothers to connect, socialize, and enjoy delicious Jamaican cuisine. Sweet Fingers will offer a $30 discount on meals for all mothers attending Hugs Cafe. A changing table is also conveniently located in the accessible restroom.

"At Sweet Fingers, we believe in honoring and welcoming everyone," says Roxanne Mosley and Chef Clive, Sweet Fingers Owners. "That's why we're so excited to launch Hugs Cafe. We want to create a supportive environment where new moms can relax, connect with others, and enjoy a delicious meal. 

We'll be greeting every mother with 'Akwaaba,' a traditional expression meaning 'we honor you and welcome you.'"

Sweet Fingers is partnering with Mothers for Postpartum Justice to support new mothers in the community. Information and resources from Mothers for Postpartum Justice will be available at Hugs Cafe.
